Date confirmed for Carlisle United clash
Liverpool FC have confirmed that their Capital One Cup meeting with Carlisle United at Anfield will be played on Wednesday September 23, kicking off at 8pm.
Keith Curle's team will make the trip to Merseyside after being paired with the Reds in Tuesday's third round draw.
Carlisle have defeated Chesterfield and Queens Park Rangers en route to this stage of the competition.
The League Two club's last trip to Anfield came in 1977, when they suffered a 3-0 defeat in an FA Cup fourth round tie.
