Premier League 2 table-toppers Liverpool U23s return to action when they face Derby County at St George's Park on Monday night.

Neil Critchley's side are unbeaten in eight games since the start of 2017-18, including six straight victories in league football.

The young Rams beat Liverpool U23s last season in Kirkby, so the young Reds will be hoping to both gain revenge and go five points clear of neighbours Everton in second place.

Where is the game being played? The tie is taking place at St George's Park, with kick-off set for 7pm BST.

Last season head-to-head: After a goalless draw at Pride Park, the Rams beat Liverpool 2-1 at Kirkby back in February.

View from the manager, Neil Critchley

"We are really looking forward to getting back into Premier League 2 action. We have made a good start to the season but as always there is room for improvement. It's always nice to get the chance to go to St George's Park and it's a really top environment to play in. Derby County have always given us tough games at U18 and U23 level during my time at Liverpool and we are expecting a similar test on Monday night. I'm sure Derby will want to be the first team to beat us this season, but we are enjoying our unbeaten run and we want it to stay that way."
