It was a frustrating day in the Midlands for Liverpool U18s who lost 4-1 at Coventry City on Saturday.
Jerome Sinclair netted his sixth goal of pre-season but it was to be a bad day at the office for the Academy side.
Performance wise, Steve Cooper's side played some good football but a combination of missed chances and less than convincing defending proved their downfall.
This loss brings the winning run in pre-season to an end for the U18s having previously scored 22 goals in their opening four games.
