Ted MacDougall never made the breakthrough at Liverpool, but he's a Bournemouth legend who once scored nine goals for Bournemouth in a 11-0 FA Cup win vs. Margate in November 1971.
His goalscoring exploits in the 4th and 3rd Division earned him a transfer in September 1972 to top flight's Manchester United, where he struggled to impose himself. He resurrected his career at Norwich where he lead the scoring charts in the First Division with 23 goals and earning seven international caps. In total, MacDougall scored 256 goals in 535 league games.
