Right-back Stephen Darby graduated to Melwood during the summer of 2006 and went on to make six appearances for the first team.
The Scouser was a key part of our 2006 and 2007 FA Youth Cup victories, wearing the captain's armband in the first of those wins.
He was also skipper when Liverpool Reserves lifted the Dallas Cup following victory over Mexican side Tigres in March 2008.
Two months later Darby held aloft the national reserve league trophy at Anfield after a 3-0 victory over southern champions Aston Villa.
The defender made his senior bow as a substitute in a Carling Cup defeat to Tottenham on November 12, 2008.
However, he ultimately did not make the grade at Anfield and, after a series of loan spells, left upon the expiry of his contract in 2012.
