Post That's it from our live coverage from the Hawthorns on a day when the SAS struck once again, but Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by the Baggies
Post Full Brendan Rodgers reaction coming up on the Liverpoolfc.com homepage shortly
Post On the mistake from Kolo Toure that resulted in West Brom's equaliser, Rodgers said: "Sometimes it's the price to pay when you try to play football. He shouldn't have received the ball in the first place, it wasn't the time for him to receive it. But that's part of our learning. I just said to the team that we're in the position that we are because over the last 18 months we have shown the courage and bravery that we can play football. Part of that is to build the game from behind. Unfortunately, for the first time this season, we got punished for that. He is an experienced guy, so he obviously knows that it was a mistake. He's devastated because he's a conscientious guy. But there's no blame for the courage that he had to receive the ball – he has misplaced the pass. It was a good finish by Anichebe, he finished it well. Unfortunately for us, it has cost us two points – but hopefully we'll see it as a point gained at the end of the season."
Post "We had good control of the game – there weren't many chances but I always felt that we dominated possession and looked dangerous with the ball. It was just one of those unfortunate things where we made the mistake and we got punished for it. Hopefully in the future we'll see it as a point gained. It tells you everything about our expectancy now; we came here and lost, and lost at home to West Brom, last year. So to get four points out of six shows the improvement. For us to be disappointed with a point away from home in the Barclays Premier League shows the growth of the team."

Pre One man hoping to be involved at the Hawthorns today is Joe Allen, who has recovered from injury
Pre "As good a result as the Everton game was, that game has gone and the next one is the most important. You get straight back into it. Colin Pascoe went to watch West Brom's match against Aston Villa on Wednesday night and we had other people there watching. We've spoken about how they played and we'll get straight back into it. Psychologically, the 4-3 defeat could affect them, as it's difficult when you come back after losing to your nearest rivals, so with a little bit of luck, they will be on a downer and that will be a bonus for us."
Pre His sentiments were echoed by first-team coach Mike Marsh. He insisted Liverpool were already thinking about West Brom on Wednesday morning, rather than basking in the glow of a famous derby win
Pre "Obviously the derby special and everyone is up for the game, but we know what we are fighting for this season. We are in the top four, so we know we have a lot to play for. Now we have to be ready for the game against West Brom. We know it's not going to be an easy game but if we can continue with the way we played against Everton and show that form, we can get something."
Pre Earlier this week, Liverpoolfc.com caught up with Martin Skrtel at Melwood, who told us why he's confident the Reds can replicate the same intensity that blew Everton away when they take on the Baggies today...
Pre Referee Kevin Friend will take charge of Liverpool for the first time this season - his last Reds game was the 2-2 draw with Chelsea in April 2013
Pre Liverpool have scored 17 goals in their six games so far in 2014 and have kept four clean sheets in that time
Pre The Reds have failed to score only twice in their last 18 visits
Pre The 6-0 victory on this ground in April 2003 is Liverpool's biggest ever league win over Albion
Pre The Reds have an excellent record at the Hawthorns, winning nine of the last 11 fixtures - scoring 28 and conceding seven. 25 of those goals have come in the last nine visits

Pre "I think we're seeing all of those qualities now. That will only improve as we grow together."
Pre "We've been challenged since I've been here, especially early on, about whether we have enough character, can we come back from losing positions and can we fight?"
Pre "It's a natural evolution of the team and the group, and you see that character and personality starting to come into the team - that takes time, players understanding the method of work and the characteristics we're looking for. It's good to see."
Pre In the build-up to today's game, Brendan Rodgers revealed his belief that Liverpool have natural leaders all round the dressing room
