Minute by minute

Post We'll be back on Saturday delivering live updates from Anfield. Thanks for following our coverage
Post The result was enough to ensure the Reds remain unbeaten and go back to the top of the Barclays Premier League
Post That concludes our live commentary service from the Liberty Stadium, where Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Swansea City
Post Liverpool return to action on Saturday when they play host to Southampton at Anfield
Post @patrikberger73: "Great first half by LFC ....different story second half ...draw is fair result #topofthetable"
Post @ged0407: "#LFC lead PL table with 10 pts from 4 games. It took them until 28th October last season to reach 10 points (9 games)."
Post Rodgers on Coutinho injury: "He's very sore in the changing room. We're hoping it'll only be bruising, but he certainly looked pretty sore and in pain."
Post Rodgers: "Probably young Coutinho going off disrupted the flow of our game. They obviously got the second goal, which we could have defended better on, and in the last 20-25 minutes they had the momentum and the crowd were up, so we had to show our resilience and character. We did that."
Post Brendan Rodgers: "My assessment is simple, really; for the first 65 minutes of the game we were very good with and without the ball. We looked really in control and showed great character to come from behind so early on in the game."
Post His goal meant he became the first Liverpool player to score in the first four games of a league campaign since John Aldridge hit the net in each of the first eight fixtures in 1987
Post Daniel Sturridge has now scored 12 goals in his last 10 games in league and cup and has found the net 10 times in his last eight league appearances
Post Jonjo Shelvey: "I didn't really want to celebrate [the goal] because I have respect for the Liverpool fans and I loved every minute of being there. It was good to score but I'll struggle to sleep after two bad mistakes."
Post Sturridge: "We're disappointed, but at the same time we're back to the top of the league and we’ll push on to the next game."
Post Sturridge: "But I think in the end we showed the character not to lose the game and we almost won it at the end as well."
Post Daniel Sturridge: "I think in the end we are a little bit disappointed because we were winning the game and when you're in control of the game and then you conceded a goal it's a disappointment."
Post The Reds are a point ahead of Spurs and Arsenal
Post The result maintains Liverpool's 100 per cent record in the Barclays Premier League and sends them back to the top of the table
95 Brilliant last-ditch tackle by Flores denies Aspas in the last action of the match.
94 Michu threatens again but his low drive is stopped by Mignolet.
93 Outstanding tackle by Sakho to keep an onrushing Michu out.
90 Five minutes added on. Time left for a winner?
89 The midfielder then hacks another attempt well over. Two minutes remaining.
88 ...De Guzman strikes a lovely, curling effort which Mignolet needs to spring to his left to palm around the post for a corner. Smart stop.
87 Swansea have a free-kick in an inviting central position...
83 Then De Guzman lets fly at a nicely bobbling ball – it worries the LFC support but eventually finishes the right side of the post from our point of view.
82 Gerrard tries to catch Vorm out with a direct free-kick which glides over.
80 Substitution: Raheem Sterling for Victor Moses:
80 10 minutes left...
78 Great work by Enrique to keep the ball in play down the left and he plays a pass into Iago Aspas, who tries an ambitious flick past his marker which drifts wide.
75 A clearing header by Enrique falls kindly to Michu on the volley – wide this time.
73 Shelvey stands over a promising set-piece for the hosts and hits powerfully after a tee-up – Mignolet watches it all the way and holds onto the ball.
71 Brilliantly timed challenge by Mamadou Sakho stops Pozuelo in his tracks.
69 Substitution: Kolo Toure for Andre Wisdom:
66 Substitution: Alejandro Pozuelo for Wilfried Bony:
66 First Booking: Andre Wisdom:
64 It has been one of those games and the home side are level – Shelvey flicked on into the path of Spanish striker Michu and the No.9 made no mistake, converting low into the corner for 2-2.
64 GOAL! Michu:
62 An incisive counter-attack by the Reds allows Jose Enrique to lift his head and pick out Steven Gerrard at the back post – the captain drives a volley across goal to the far corner but it’s deflected.
60 First Booking: Jordan Henderson:
57 Bony is now down after a thunderous clearing punch by Mignolet.
55 First Booking: Lucas Leiva:
55 First Booking: Jonjo Shelvey:
54 Substitution: Iago Aspas for Philippe Coutinho:
53 Gerrard delivers perfectly again and finds Henderson, who side-foots at goal but slices his strike. Wisdom tries to convert the loose ball but Vorm eventually smothers.
51 Superb swinging free-kick from Gerrard needs a clever headed clearance by Chico Flores.
50 As things stand, of course, Liverpool are top of the league again. Always a pleasant sentence to write.
49 First Booking: Ashley Williams: Foul on Coutinho.
47 Bright opening to the period from Swansea but no clear threat to Liverpool as yet.
46 Substitution: Jonathan de Guzman for Nathan Dyer:
45 @NeilMellor33: An Immediate impact from Victor Moses with a brilliant individual goal on debut that separates the teams at half time#1-2
45 The two sides are returning for the second half...

45 Head to the homepage now for live photos from the Liberty Stadium.
45 If you needed any further evidence that it has been an action-packed first half, there have been 18 shots in the opening period – 10 for Swansea, eight for Liverpool.
38 Almost an immediate reaction from the hosts, with Martin Skrtel forced into a tremendous sliding tackle to deny Bony a simple tap-in.
36 The Reds are in front and it’s a sensational goal by Moses on his debut. The Nigerian international took possession, sprinted into the Swansea half and drilled a beautiful low effort into the bottom corner.
36 GOAL! Victor Moses:
29 Bony links up smartly at the edge of the Liverpool box and shoots low to Mignolet’s left but the Belgian is equal to the task again.
28 Very nearly a shocking error by Angel Rangel with a short backpass. Moses sense an open goal but Swansea recover to clear their lines.
24 What a chance! Terrific dribbling from Moses ends with a centre into the Swansea area and right onto Sturridge’s head. The striker seems guaranteed a goal but Vorm somehow beats away the header.
22 Another chance for the Reds and this time Henderson. Victor Moses picked up the ball and rapidly moved into opposition territory before his pass to Sturridge was dummied. The No.14 took an instant swipe with his left foot, which was blocked well.
20 Steven Gerrard delivers a corner dangerously into the Swansea area and Andre Wisdom jumps highest to nod a header in the direction of goal. Over, though.
18 It’s end to end here and Shelvey has the chance to shoot once more – the midfielder leans back a touch, however, and the Londoner’s attempt is too high.
13 Liverpool break again with Sturridge in possession. The No.15 dribbles forward and has support but decides to shoot instead; the angle is narrow and his blast goes over.
11 Back come Swansea with their intense pressing and the ball arrives at Wilfried Bony. The forward has one thing on his mind, driving a shot towards the corner of the net – Simon Mignolet swoops to his right quickly and holds on to avoid a rebound.
8 Excellent combination passing between Henderson and Philippe Coutinho provides the latter with a sight of goal from 20 yards; the Brazilian clips an effort goalwards which Vorm collects at a comfortable height.
5 What a start at the Liberty Stadium.
3 He literally cannot stop scoring. Daniel Sturridge takes control of a loose ball inside the Swansea area after good pressure by Jordan Henderson and whips a superb finish beyond Michel Vorm. Instant response.
3 GOAL! Daniel Sturridge:
2 The Reds’ clean sheet record is over and it’s their former player, Jonjo Shelvey, who breaks the deadlock with a calm left-footed finish inside the area.
2 GOAL! Jonjo Shelvey:
1 KICK-OFF: We're underway!

Pre The match this evening will be a landmark for Reds skipper Steven Gerrard: the Liverpool midfielder will captain his team for the 400th time in all competitions, almost 11 years after the first occasion.
