The Etihad Stadium is within easy reach just off the M62 and is well signposted.

Amongst the benefits the City of Manchester Stadium brings is the improved transport access. There are over 2,000 car parking spaces on site, and a further 8,000 accredited car parking spaces in easy reach of the Stadium.

  • By Train

    The Stadium can also be easily reached by rail and bus, being just a 20 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station and the city centre.

    A smaller rail station, Ashburys is situated to the south on Alan Turing Way and is 15 minutes walk to the Stadium.

    From the M62

    Leave the M62 at Junction 18 and then join the M60 Ashton Under Lyne. Then follow directions to the stadium.

    From the South

    Leaving M6 at junction 19, follow A556 towards Stockport. Join M56 towards Stockport and then take M60 heading towards Ashton Under Lyne. Leave M60 at junction23 and take A635 towards Manchester, then branch off onto A662 towards Droyslden. After about three miles you will reach the stadium on your right.

    Parking restrictions

    A residents parking scheme is in place, please park safely and do not park on streets in the area or you will be fined or your car clamped or removed. The residents parking scheme will be strictly enforced. Please respect the needs of local people and help City to be a good neighbour.

    The ASDA car park adjacent to the Stadium is reserved for their customers. ASDA will manage their car park and may impose penalties on a match day.
