Ings and Klavan join 'Respect 4 All' participants at Christmas party

Danny Ings and Ragnar Klavan celebrated Christmas with children and young people from the LFC Foundation’s 'Respect 4 All' programme this week.

The Liverpool duo attended this year's 'Respect 4 All' Christmas party held in Anfield's Kenny Dalglish Stand and spent a festive evening meeting with guests, signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Each of the programme’s participants, who all have additional needs, also received a certificate and medal during a special end-of-year ceremony, with awards presented by the two players.

Participants also enjoyed a visit from Santa, an LFC-themed raffle draw and a disco.

Ings said: “It’s always great to come to these kind of events and meet the fans, but it’s especially enjoyable at this time of year.

“As players it’s really important for us to get involved in the local community and give something back, so Ragnar and I were really pleased to be invited along today. We’ve had a brilliant time with the Respect 4 All participants and we’re definitely in the Christmas spirit now.”

The Foundation has two Respect 4 All centres - one in Anfield, the other in Wirral - both of which deliver free impairment-specific coaching to young people and adults with complex additional needs.

Ryan Moignard, LFC Foundation project lead, said: “It was fantastic having Danny and Ragnar visit the participants and families involved with the ‘Respect 4 All’ Project. Everyone was really surprised by the visit and delighted with their support.”
