Reds legend Ian Callaghan was in attendance as he prepares to take over from Jan Molby as LDSA president, while first-team star Sadio Mane was honoured with the Player of the Season award.
Callaghan said: “I was absolutely delighted to be asked by the LDSA to be their president for next season. It’s a real honour for me to represent the association and its members.”
The LDSA is one of the largest football disabled supporters associations in the world, with a global membership of more than 200 LFC fans.
Its annual dinner, held in the Beautiful Game lounge inside Anfield’s Main Stand, provides the opportunity for supporters to come together and look back over the season.
Keith Graham, chair of the LDSA, said: “It was another memorable evening at Anfield with a magnificent turnout from our members. The backing from the club has been fantastic and we really appreciate their ongoing support.
“It was great to have some of the LFC legends in attendance with us to enjoy the event. On behalf of the LDSA, I would like to thank our previous president Jan Molby for his support this season and Ian Callaghan for accepting the role of president for next season. We are delighted to have him on board.”
